Job Title: Director of People and Culture

PURPOSE OF THE POST:

To lead the delivery of a proactive and customer focused people and culture change strategy across Cartrefi Conwy, developing the organisation to meet current and future business needs through working in partnership with managers and leaders to develop progressive people, organisational culture, systems and initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Drive the cultural change programme, working with other managers across the business and the Leadership Team to ensure alignment of all change activities to the Corporate Plan.
  2. Provide consultancy and support to the Executive Team and Senior Managers on cultural change.
  3. Ensure the implementation plan is formulated, understood by all stakeholders and is delivered utilising all available resources efficiently and effectively.
  4. Lead on the cultural change programme to promote agreed values and behaviours across the business, which enable employee engagement, innovation, high performance, service excellence and business focus.
  5. Conduct organisational needs analysis and lead the development of appropriate plans and programmes to ensure all employees have the skills, knowledge and experience to perform their roles to the highest standard and meet the future needs of Cartrefi Conwy.
  6. Assist HR in the development and implementation of a new People and Business Culture Change Strategy and continue to enhance the quality of delivery of the People and HR service.
  7. Network effectively across a complex organisational structure, building relationships across Cartrefi Conwy in order to ensure that the service contributes and enables delivery of high-quality customer experience and value-added solutions.
  8. Prepare and contribute to the development of reports and internal communications to the Board, Executive Team and wider audiences.
  9. Ensure that the Board are aligned with the people and culture strategies.
  10. Identify, own and manage risks arising from strategic learning and development plans, projects and initiatives.
  11. Manage a designated People and Culture budget ensuring that value for money is achieved in all circumstances through the monitoring and control of expenditure.
  12. Comply with Group confidentiality and information security policies at all times.
  13. Your duties may vary from time to time within the broad remit of your role and grade. You are required to undertake any such reasonable and appropriate duties.
